This Sedona elopement with Chelsea and Quinn was an absolute DREAM! The elopement was full of multiple locations, adventures, with family and solo, and it was just a total blast! Sedona is such a beautiful elopement location, and we were able to get some epic views and take such fun adventures! Getting to know Chelsea and Quinn was amazing and so was this day.

Initially we started planning this as a solo full day elopement in Utah, but due to the fathers heath it turned into an intimate wedding with couple adventure portraits as well. Chelsea and Quinn were a literal dream! They were so flexible, go with the flow, and a freaking blast to be with and capture. I truly couldn’t have asked for better clients. What an honor it was to be their Sedona elopement photographer! Now let’s get into the adventure that was their elopement day, because I can’t wait to share!

Chelsea & Quinn’s Dreamy Sedona Elopement

One thing I knew about Chelsea and Quinn when I got to know them during our initial call was that they were up for adventuring if it meant having some privacy and the most epic views! Let me tell you, Sedona is not lacking in the dreamy view department and adventure opportunities! We started the morning at 4:30am to hike to the top of Cathedral Rock in the dark.

With our head lamps, chipper mood, and pure excitement, we set off for a once in a lifetime morning of views and memories! We had the place to ourselves with the most beautiful stars to start and the sunrise to warm us. Chelsea and Quinn were down for all of the spots. And when I say Quinn is the dream man for a full day elopement, I mean it ! He was the biggest hype man, so excited, shed some tears while looking at his girl, and just helped make the day more fun and exciting! The man of a Sedona elopement photographers dreams!

After our morning hike we went and got some acai bowls and then went back to rest for a few hours. Later I met them at their Airbnb for a few getting ready pictures with the family. Chelsea had two dresses and the second one was made by her mother, so it was a special moment for her to wear this dress for her Sedona elopement. Then all together the entire group of 18 went to an easily accessible location for the intimate ceremony and family/group pics. Afterwards we went on a little hike to one of my favorite Sedona views and then finished up with the group! Getting to know Chelsea and Quinn along with their family was so special to me.

Part 2 of Quinn & Chelsea’s Wedding Adventures

The second adventure of the day involved off roading up a wild road to a super secluded and beautiful view. 1 hour of bumps and a little nausea later and we made it for golden hour. We continued the fun, laughs and just enjoying the peaceful time. There was one minor issue where Chelsea’s dad almost drove us off a cliff and we climbed out to save our lives. A minor stressful moment but we got past it. Making memories, am I right?! To end the night we went back to the Airbnb were a private chef was making the couple, their loved ones, and me a gourmet meal! It was absolutely delicious and was a day of dreams.

After receiving their gallery Chelsea told me that everyone has said their pictures are the most beautiful they’ve ever seen, and that makes my heart scream with joy! They also stated how they loved all of the locations I planned out for them because they were able to have such a diverse gallery!
