So you’re wondering what it’s like to elope with me as your elopement photographer? First let me start out by saying it’s a heck of a good time! Maybe I’m biased, but the experience you get with me is SO MUCH MORE then just photos. I ensure that my couples get the best experience possible through my planning, expertise, guidance, and I make this is as stress free on you as the couple as possible because I believe it’s so important that you can actually enjoy this day to it’s fullest without the added stressors. Now let’s get into the details on what it actually looks like to work with me!

What Working With Me as Your Elopement Photographer Looks Like
First I want you to imagine this. After our initial zoom meeting you want to book (I mean duh), we both sign a contract and the non-refundable deposit is paid, then you are officially booked and the fun begins. SO MUCH more goes into planning a beautiful memorable elopement. So I work hard to take as much of the stress and unknown off my couples by walking with them each step of the way.
To start you will get a welcome guide with tips, recommendations, ideas for adventures, etc. This will help to get those wedding planning juices flowing. I also send you a beginning questionnaire so I can get to know more about the two of you and exactly what you envision for your elopement day. Then we get to the fun part – the planning! Your questionnaire helps me to decide what to recommend for you based on what I think you’d love.
Step 1: We Figure Out Your Dream Elopement Locations Together!
When a couple and I first start talking about locations, it always goes one of two ways. You either come knowing the exact location you want to elope in (Zion National Park, Big Sur California, Sedona Arizona, etc.) but we need to finalize the exact location, OR You know you want somewhere amazing but don’t know where so we have to start at the beginning. NO PROBLEM! I got you either way!! Then, I will work to bring together vision proposals for your day. I recommend locations that are perfect for what you want at the time you’re eloping, what adventures we can include, what a general timeline would look like and we go from there!
Based on wherever you’re at, that’s where we start. We want to get the general idea of the location planned first so that we know where we’re going and so that I can start planning your dream day! Once we have the location set I then make you a custom list of my favorite vendors and adventures in the area that you hope to elope in such as the closest airport/etc. so you can get to booking!
Step 2: I Give You Custom Vendor Recommendations
Once we have the location set, I will recommend local vendors such as hair and makeup artists, an officiant, a live musician, florist, videographer, etc. I will also recommend any other vendors you may be interested in like a private chef or other vendors based on the vision you and your partner have for your special day. Let me tell you, I HIGHLY recommend hiring a private chef. Can you imagine eloping somewhere beautiful, followed by a ton of sight seeing, adventure, activities, and then coming back to your Airbnb and having yummy food prepared by a private chef? Need I say more?!
Step 3: I Create & Deliver a Custom Travel Itinerary/Guide
The next step is creating and delivering your custom travel intermarry/guide for the elopement location of your choosing! This will include tons of fun things to do at the locations, Think hikes, scenic views to check out, awesome restaurants, links to all the map locations, and important info you and your guests (if you have guests) will need! You’ll also get a list of items to pack to ensure that you have everything you could possibly think of needing for your elopement day!
We Work Together to Bring Your Dream Elopement To Life
Leading up to your elopement day we will do a lot of planning together. You can call or text as you need and are always free to bounce ideas off of me. If I come up with something you absolutely need to do or that I think you’ll love, I’ll reach out to you! By the time your elopement day is here we are friends and we will have an absolute blast planning and then celebrating your love!
What to Expect Post-Elopement When Working With me as Your Elopement Photographer
You had a freaking blast and created memories of a lifetime with your partner and now you’re wondering “what now?”. Well, now we’re friends for life! I know you’re also wondering when you can expect all of your amazing images, video footage, and all that good stuff right?! Here’s what you can expect when you work with me as your elopement photographer:
- Photography: Sneak peek within 5 days. This includes a summary of the day (15 +images) with a personalized app for your constant viewing. I mean HOW COOL IS THAT! My clients Chelsea and Quinn received these sneak peeks the same week as their elopement. They’re able to see them right from their phone so they can show everyone the images and look at them all they want!
- 6-8 weeks for your final images to be ready for viewing ( you’ll have the option to get these within 3 weeks)
- All images posted online for viewing, downloading, and ordering.
- Videography: 30-60 second preview within 14 days.
- 6-8 weeks for the highlight to be ready for viewing!
Finally once everything has been finished editing, you will receive your custom Personalized Client gift box with prints and your USB of images and video!
