There’s something beautiful about an elopement that combines the intimacy of a private ceremony with the joy of celebrating with loved ones. Marie & Julien’s did exactly that at their intimate mountain elopement! This lovely couple, originally from Montreal, Canada, chose the stunning Zion National Park for their special two-day celebration. And let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing! This beautiful park created the perfect backdrop for their elopement. Their elopement day really embodied them as a couple, intimate, adventurous, and full of love.

Intimate Mountain Elopement in Utah

The first day was reserved just for the two of them, at the spot where Julien had proposed – Yes, you guessed it, Zion National Park! They couldn’t have chosen a better location for their private vows. Standing on top of the world, they exchanged their words, and it was such an emotional and beautiful moment. Listening to them express their love in French, their native language, added an extra layer of emotion to the experience. Watching the sunset in the same place where their journey to marriage started was so symbolic and truly beautiful!

Then came day two, a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. They held an intimate ceremony with their closest ones, right in the heart of nature. If I can describe it using one word it would be simplicity – it was all about the people, the views, and the emotions. And let me tell you, the Utah mountain views did not disappoint! They provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with joy and celebration.

One of the most memorable moments was the ceremony itself, officiated by none other than the groom’s dad. It was so heartwarming to see him there, leading the ceremony with so much love and emotion. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house (mine included) The love and joy in the air were palpable. The ceremony was followed by a fun-filled celebration with champagne popping, laughter echoing through the mountains, and the newlyweds full of happiness!
